Assassin's Creed Rogue is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Soft and published by Ubisoft in 2014 for the platforms: Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Assassins Creed Rogue is the seventh game of the Assassins Creed series. It is the sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and is the prequel to Assassin's Creed 3.

The history of  Assassins Creed Rogue is set during the Seven Years' War, so about half of the 18th century will follow the player character Cormac Patrick Shay, a murderer who left the Templars, through a third-person perspective. The gameplay is Assassins Creed Rogue PC is similar to what was seen in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, as it includes both ship and shore exploration of the free world.

The naval aspects introduced in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag are returning in Assassins Creed Rogue. The player will have control over Shays, Morrigan ship, which has a project that is not as deep as the jackdaw of Edward Kenway, allowing the Morrigan to travel through shallow rivers. Assassins Creed Rogue has new weapons specially designed for vessels specified; an oil stain that can be activated in the fire, and Puckle weapons.


Enemies in Assassins Creed Rogue possess the ability to enter the Morrigan during combat between several boats. The environment, especially the Arctic environment affects ships traveling so the player will be able to use icebreakers to destroy icebergs that are in the path of Morrigan. Assassins Creed Rogue contains missions that involve swimming in the North Atlantic, since the player would kill for him freeze to death from the icy waters.

Assassins Creed Rogue also includes a new air rifle that gives the player the ability to silently kill enemies at long range. There are different projectiles that can be used with air rifle Assassins Creed Rogue, like firecrackers. There is also a grenade launcher that can fire grenades along with other items.

The appearance of short-range battlefield has changed a Assassins Creed Rogue because now enemy attacks can be countered with time, something like Batman: Arkham series. Later he was accepted into the Order of the Temple, where he gave his skills as a hunter murderer because some of the murderers were helping the terror of the city of New York. When Shay was allowed access to abundant resources, he went to his quest to carry out their peers of the past. Their actions will badly affect the outcome of the Brotherhood of the Murderers.
